Hello and welcome to my blog
Here you will find links, pics, clips and other stuff I have to offer.
Hi I am Tris but I am self-appointedly known a Charlie. I enjoy surfing at 5:00 am in the morning and all things artistic and musical. I have 5 guitars at my house, 3 are my dad’s 1 is my mum’s and another one is mine. I am obsessed with acting and I take lessons at Brightlights drama academy.
As for my school life, I am giong into year 7 on the 31/1/09 and I am not sure if i’ll be the best artist in the school over there. I get my inspiration from Shaun Tan, H.R Giger and Salvador Dali. I’ve only met my teacher once at orientation, she seems nice but I’ve got the rest of the year to get to know her.
I am currently holding a gamesite that can’t be blocked by the DET’s program on school computers and has games like Defend your castle, Electricman 2hs, 4 wheel madness and much more.
I know you’ll like it.

There are many things that trigger a disturbence in us. some of which are on an art gallery wall, some in movies and some encountered in dreams. This is what enspires some of us and those who are well known to take an interest in the the topic are outcast as “emo’s” or “goths”.

I am talking about artwork, such as like that of H,R Giger, the Swiss artist who designed the creature out of the movie Alien (I have one of his pictures as my header) and little other concept art for other movies. I am an Artist and I draw similar things such as him, which has led me to him being my source of inspiration. I adore his artwork. It has a sense of prowess, imagination, emotion, dreaming and sometimes fear and unexceptance of new stages in life. This I think are messages to the people who just simply glimpse at it and dismiss it as “disturbing”. The message is sort of telling them to step through the hole to realise and be in the picture and discover the panorama of it all. I wouldn’t call it disturbing. I would think of it as emotion and feeling in a physical manifestation.
If you think about it, it’s pretty amazing.

Machines
The word comes with a sense of irony.
We created them to help us with our life, to make our life easier and even inspire us in some way
But in some ways they rule us.
In the future machines will become more advanced, more compatable, more intelligent and even more human.
This is what will probably lead to machines becoming so advanced that they could control us and even change they way we live as they have done but in a more genocidal way.
Take the movie the Matrix for example. Set in the year 2199, the machines rose up against us and used our body heat as an alternative source of energy for them to feed on while we are in a cryogenic sleep with our brains linked up to a virtual world assimilating the world as it was at the end of the 20th century in 1999 in order to keep us under control.

But it won’t be as dramatic because that is not real life.
